Your Google account
Connecting Google is the biggest decision you make with Chamko. Here is what it allows, and how to undo it.
What you are allowing
When you connect, Google shows its own screen and asks your permission for Chamko to manage your Business Profile. Your password is never shared with us, and you can remove the access yourself at any time.
What Chamko does and does not do with your Google access
Does
- Publishes your scheduled posts and photos
- Reads your reviews and replies to them
- Keeps listing details in sync when you ask it to
- Reads performance numbers for your monthly report
Does not
- Write reviews for your business
- Sell or share your Google data for advertising
- See your Google password
- Read your Gmail, Drive or other Google products
Google's rules
Chamko's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You stay in control of what goes out
Automatic posts, review replies and photos each have their own switch in Settings. Turn any of them off and that work stops. You can also edit a scheduled post, or rewrite a reply, from the dashboard.
Removing access
In Chamko, open Profile and disconnect Google. That erases the stored key on our side straight away.
